Mindblowing Jurassic Park Campervan

A Roaring Success

This week I travelled to Norwich to meet Darren, possibly one of the biggest Jurassic Park fans in the UK, and boy, was it worth the trip.

Darren’s van is an ex-ambulance that he’s spent three years converting into a full-on Jurassic Park campervan. His attention to detail was incredible.

Once inside, I was blown away by the atmosphere he’d created with everything from a velociraptor containment unit to tranquilizer darts. It was so different from the setups I’m used to.

Before we took the campervan for a spin, he showed me around another of his Jurassic Park-themed vehicles. It was a car he’d kitted out to look like one from the film, complete with its own roaring dinosaur sound effect.

After we drove off in the van, I soon forgot how it looked from the outside. It was such a different experience driving an automatic. Needless to say, there were a few minor cock ups and close shaves as we wound our way along Norfolk’s narrow and bumpy lanes.

Following last week’s cooking nightmare, I couldn’t face trying to prepare a meal in this van. I thought that getting a takeaway would make life easier, but it turns out I was wrong.

After finding the perfect park up by the sea, we decided to get some fish and chips, and what a palaver that was. All the fish and chip shops close early in this part of the UK, so we had a bit of a trek to find one still open.

I’m sure that you’ll enjoy this week’s setup. Whether you’re a fan of Jurassic Park or not, it was a hugely entertaining experience and a joy to meet Darren.
