24 Hours in a Mobile Log Cabin

New Series Starts Saturday

I can’t tell you how excited and nervous I am about the new video that will go live this weekend. The past few weeks have been such an incredible journey.

I’ve been working my nuts off to try and take the channel in a different direction and now I’m getting ready to publish the first episode of this new adventure.

In the early days YouTube was about sharing my experiences and what I got up to, trying not to take life too seriously. In the final few months of stealth camping videos, I found that the fun had gone and I wanted to recapture the raw energy and excitement you all love.

It’s been a mixture of hard work, cock ups, and bloody good fun. I’m so excited that you’re here with me as we embark on this new chapter of Will’s Whereabouts.

The first video in this new series features Buttercup, a campervan I rented to kick-start the videos. It’s an incredible setup with a real rustic vibe and so much wood it’s a mobile log cabin.

One of the main reasons I wanted to try out Buttercup was that she has a beautiful log burner. It’s not only for keeping me warm but also for cooking and burning myself.

During filming, two things became obvious to me. Firstly, I wouldn’t be able to film how I wanted to on my own. To do the videos justice I really had to find someone to help me, which I did.

Secondly, I could see the immediate benefit of the content. For the first time in a while, I was excited to be creating YouTube videos again and I could sense the huge potential for the future.

The only thing left is to find out how you all feel about them. Will you find these videos as enjoyable as I do? I hope so.

Set your alarms for 6 pm this Saturday when the video featuring Buttercup will go live. I’ll be nervous as hell but can’t wait to share this amazing new direction with you all and listen to your feedback.
